Renault Kwid EV India Launch : If you are planning to buy a new car for your family, then for your information, Renault Kwid is all set to launch the electric hybrid version of Kwid in India. As the demand for electric vehicles is continuously increasing in the market, Renault Kwid EV is expected to be one of the most affordable options for environment conscious car buyers. While its specifications are still under wraps, it has been spotted recently. The pictures and developments indicate what we can expect from this new EV.

Renault Kwid EV Powertrain and Performance Update

For your information, the final specifications of the Renault Kwid EV have not yet been officially revealed, but it is expected to feature a lithium-ion battery pack. This battery could offer a range comparable to the Dacia Spring EV, which can cover 225 kilometers or more on a full charge. The Kwid EV will offer a similar range, making it suitable for daily commutes.

The Dacia Spring EV, which features a similar powertrain, recently received updates, including more powerful 70 hp and 100 hp engines. These upgrades address initial complaints of slow acceleration and weak performance. If Renault introduces similar updates to the Kwid EV, it could significantly improve the car’s performance and deliver faster acceleration.

Renault Kwid EV Charging & Battery Upgrade

Speaking of the Renault Kwid EV’s battery, it’s likely to feature a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, similar to the one found in the updated Dacia Spring EV. This new battery technology is safer, more economical, and longer-lasting than traditional lithium-ion batteries. It also supports fast charging, expected to reach over 80% charge in 25 to 30 minutes, and its 40 kW charging capacity helps it recharge quickly.
