Mahindra XUV700 Electric Launch : Hello friends, today we’re going to learn about an electric vehicle that you’re going to love. The Mahindra XUV700 Electric, which will likely be called the Mahindra XEV 7e, is set to become one of the most anticipated electric SUVs in India. It’s expected to offer a spacious cabin, impressive performance, and a long driving range, making it a practical option for families. The Mahindra XUV700 Electric is highly anticipated to launch in November 2025.
Now, with many buyers deciding to wait for the EV instead of choosing the current XUV700, here are some compelling reasons why you should wait for the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 EV, which we will discuss in detail in this article.
Design
We would like to inform you that Mahindra is preparing to launch an electric version of the XUV700, which is likely to be called the Mahindra XUV.e8. This model is part of Mahindra’s new “Born Electric” lineup and is expected to arrive in the Indian market by the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026.
It will compete with upcoming models such as the Tata Harrier EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and MG ZS EV.
Engine Performance
Mahindra XUV.e8. In terms of engine performance, the battery will be 60 kWh – 80 kWh (Lithium-Ion), and its motor will be available in Single (RWD) and Dual Motor (AWD) configurations, with torque of around 500 Nm for the AWD variant. It supports fast charging (DC fast charging – 0 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes) and offers a range of 450–600 km on a single charge (claimed, depending on the variant).
Interior Design
Speaking of the interior, one of the car’s most striking features is its triple-screen dashboard layout: a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a third screen in front of the front passenger.
This vehicle is built on Mahindra’s new “INGLO” EV architecture, which gives it a more modern cabin layout and greater space/flexibility in design. The steering wheel is expected to have a two-spoke design, possibly with a flat bottom and an illuminated logo, giving it a premium feel.
Safety Feature
This car has been designed with safety in mind. The Mahindra XUV700 EV is expected to get the same Level-2 ADAS features as the current XUV700. It is also expected to come with safety features such as 6 airbags, stability control, hill assist, electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera system. This SUV aims to achieve a 5-star safety rating.
