Tata Sep 2025 Sales Analysis : For your information, let us tell you that Tata Motors has started the festive quarter on a great note – registering the most impressive monthly performance of this year. Last month was another strong month for Tata with sales of 59,667 units in the domestic market, representing a growth of over 45 percent year-on-year compared to last year.
You all will be surprised to know that despite the tough competition, Tata’s continued focus on SUVs is proving profitable and most of the models are registering double digit growth. The month of September helped Tata register its highest quarterly sales and highest ever monthly sales in Q2FY26 – driven by price reduction under GST 2.0 and positive purchases during the festive season
The centerpiece of Tata’s performance was the Nexon – a reliable source of sales for the brand. With sales of 22,573 units in September, it doubled its numbers compared to the same period last year and was the highest ever monthly sales of any Tata badged vehicle. something that works in its favor

Now a full-fledged mass-market hit, Punch recorded sales of 15,891 units this year as both the sub-four-metre SUVs contributed significantly to the overall sales. Despite a modest growth of 16 per cent year-on-year, it increased by nearly 48 per cent compared to August, indicating increased stocking by dealers for the festive quarter. Apart from this, Tiago and Altroz also recorded good sales
Nixon has also sold 2025 more this year than last year. In 2024, Nixon was sold 11,470 but this year a total of 22,573 were sold which is 95% sold this year.
